Martin Solveig & Dragonette, “Hello”

This is my #5 jam of the year. I recall getting into this jam in the Summer of 2010. It turned up in some quiet corners of the web, but went unnoticed. So when it blew up in the UK early this year, I breathed a little easier. Dance music hadn’t gone to the wolves. When it started blowing up in the U.S., I breathed a little easier, because then I knew musical in general hadn’t gone to the wolves. Besides “Yeah, I think you’re cute, but you should know / I just came to say hello, hello, hello, hello.” is one of the most perfect lyrics ever.
