This song. I’m aware most of you ignore my pop music recommendations on account that they’re awful, but this. This is horriblazing. Horrible and amazing. This song incorporates the use of the word “cavalierly.” A summary of all highlights:
• ”It’s 3 AM, I’m a mess / Looking through my list of friends / ‘Cause I need someone to hear me / When I speak so cavalierly”
• ”There goes my dignity through a text”
• ”FML / Or you purchase something pricey and the next day it’s on sale”
I won’t spoil the rest. But this. This is on par with a Samuel Beckett play. Yes, I did just call this pop song akin to Waiting For Godot.
