via ohrohin: I should probably let you know that this Saturday at LaunchPad (721 Franklin Avenue, 2345 to Franklin Ave, C to Franklin Ave), I will be reading some stuff at Slapdash in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. In the spirit of February, this month’s theme is Sex Ed. Performers also include Jason Helm, Dara Van Dusen, Julianna Schley, Karen Adelman, plus a sexy video game by Byron Hulcher. There will also be free, delicious Rose Beer. Come to think of it, the entire event is FREE. As my set will consist of exactly one story from Relief Work and beastly work-in-progress bits—all about the horribleness of hook-up culture—I thought it pertinent to put together a selection of songs you’d hear at a gay club while cruising.
